Victorian Government Services Minister Danny Pearson announced on the 11th that the Victorian government has spent a total of 350,000 yuan to protect the rich history of Victoria’s “local history grant” is now open for applications, local historians and community organizations can Apply for 15,000 yuan of funds for each project.

The Victorian government’s official website reported that from the 11th, community organizations can apply for funding on the Victorian government’s official website, and the deadline is 24:00 on March 9. In response, Pearson said: “We can’t wait to see this year’s history projects. I encourage Victorian community organizations and historians to apply for funding online.”

It is reported that a total of 53 community organizations successfully applied for funding in the last round, including an online database project established by the Victorian Chinese Family Historians Organization (CAFHV). The project can disclose the travel records of Chinese Australians to the public. Other projects show the public the importance of understanding local history through virtual travel, mobile apps, e-books, online digital projects and oral history.
