Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced on Thursday that he will provide A$1.5 billion for two major employment programs, including subsidies for an additional 100,000 apprentices, and an agreement with the states, each of which will contribute A$500 million to reform vocational education. To help 340,000 high school graduates and the unemployed take short courses in order to succeed in employment. The states will invest an additional 500 million Australian dollars for this vocational education program, bringing the total investment in the employment policy to 2.5 billion Australian dollars.
