In response to the economic impact of Melbourne’s renewed blockade, the Morrison government is expected to announce a new income support plan to help Australians survive the new crown epidemic. Finance Minister Josh FRydenberg said on Wednesday that the government will have “another stage of income support plan, which will be announced later next month.” The plan is also part of the government’s economic and financial policies. “The government will have a revenue support plan for the next phase. This plan is temporary and targeted and will be announced on July 23.”
Earlier, the government implemented the A$70 billion JobKeeper salary subsidy program and added a new A$550 bi-weekly benefit to those receiving JobSeeker, youth allowances and other benefits. Now, people want to know whether these two plans will continue to be implemented.
