WMW Developments is the team behind the waterfront project, a joint venture between the family business Perri Projects and Qanstruct.
Some experts have confirmed that the construction of the West Melbourne waterfront project costing A$600 million will begin next year.
The construction of the waterfront master plan will span 3.1 hectares of land located at 156-232 Kensington Road in four stages. The West Melbourne project is described as an “urban mixed-use complex”, including 600 residences, retail centers and boutique hotels. The planning document says that the area includes 230 meters on the east bank of the Maribyrnong River and 11,800 square meters of outdoor leisure space designed.
