A developer has announced the construction of a 48-story Paragon tower on the corner of Queen St and Latrobe St, which also includes two penthouses and a three-story Australia’s first indoor urban forest built by the famous landscape designer Paul Bangay. In 2016, the company acquired the historic Celtic Club hotel for 25.6 million.

Designed by the famous architect Fender Katsalidis, the tower will have 227 apartments, with three types of single rooms, double rooms and three beds, with flexible sports spaces, cinemas and private dining areas. The tower has a blue and gold glass facade, and the exterior of the heritage-listed Celtic Club has also been restored.

Experts said that the project will be completed by the end of 2020.
