A developer recently listed a plan for a famous office building in Melbourne’s central business district. The plan aims to design a 52-storey tower, and it has been approved.

This 6,100 square meter building, 74% of which is currently leased out, is the facade of Exhibition Street, Strachan and Chester Lanes at the junction of the most famous Collins and Exhibition Streets in Australia.

The location is also a short walk from Melbourne’s famous sports facilities and cultural attractions outside Federation Square and the South Bank Arts District. The current approval for the building was obtained in May, with a floor area ratio of 33:1, and zoning cannot be achieved under the control of the existing planning.

It will have six levels of podiums, which include bars, restaurants, halls, conference facilities, swimming pools and entertainment venues, and offices. Above the podium, the tower will include a variety of high-end residential accommodations as well as six-star hotels, including approximately 120 apartments and 185 rooms.
